Lady Gaga has thrilled fans by recreating the viral dance moves from hit new Netflix series, Wednesday.

The singer’s track Bloody Mary is the song that fans of the show, including Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West, have been playing when recreating the dance online.

Why they’ve chosen Bloody Mary is unknown, as the actual track from the series is by The Cure.

Fans had hoped that because it’s the pop star’s song being used – as presumably, The Cure didn’t allow use of their track – that she would also follow in their footsteps and do her own version of the dance.

And on Thursday she did just that.

The Just Dance singer shared her version of the now-iconic routine in a black-and-white video.

In the clip she goes all out with braided hair and a lace blouse, black blazer and matching black shorts in homage to the spooky character Wednesday Addams.

The clip begins with a glimpse into her Wednesday-inspired makeup process before she launches into the quirky routine, just like Wednesday did in the now iconic scene of the Netflix series, to her 2011 dance-pop song Bloody Mary.

Captioned “Mother Monster has arrived”, the short video also shows Gaga in a pair of vintage platform black leather heels.

Fans of Gaga, called Little Monsters, instantly hit the comment section to praise the video.

One wrote: “This has made my life. Wednesday would be proud!”

Another commented: “I totally knew Gaga would make this more iconic than the original.” While a third added: “She needs to be in Season 2. Maybe a teacher or the new principal.”

The clip has been shared to 33.8million followers on the Netflix and Wednesday Netflix Instagram accounts.
