Mariah Carey Reveals She Did NOT Have A Physical Relationship With Ex Fiance James Packer

Years after rumours, Mariah Carey has claimed she didn’t mention her short-lived love affair. With Australian billionaire James Packer in her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey because the former couple didn’t have a ‘physical’ relationship.

The former couple started dating in summer 2015, before becoming engaged in January the following year. Carey and Packer announced their breakup in October 2016.

During an interview with The Guardian, The 50-year-old singing superstar was asked why certain relationships were not mentioned in the memoir, including her engagement to James packer, The ‘we belong together’ singer said: ‘If it was a relationship that really mattered, it’s in the book, If not, it didn’t occur… We didn’t have a physical relationship, to be honest with you.’

The pair were rumored to have split over Mariah’s “extravagant” spending. But when asked if she’s high-maintenance, the singer says: “I don’t give a s**t, I f***king am high-maintenance because I deserve to be at this point, that may sound so arrogant, but I hope you frame it within the context of coming from nothing.”

Mariah added: “If I can’t be high-maintenance after working my a** off my entire life, oh, I’m sorry — I didn’t realize we all had to be low-maintenance.” she continued: “Hell no, I was always high-maintenance, it’s just, I didn’t have anyone to do the maintenance when I was growing up!”

When asked if she minded being called a diva, Mariah says, “You think in the grand scheme of things in my life that really matters to me, being called a diva? I am, b***hes, that’s right!”
