Swift’s eagerly anticipated 10th album is finally here.

Expect a global dip in productivity today as Swifties, anti-Swifties, Gaylors, Karma truthers, and regular people who identify with none of the above factions binge-listen to Taylor Swift’s new album, Midnights, and begin formulating takes. It’s Taylor’s 10th studio album and first since 2020’s Evermore. There’s no escaping this pop culture moment.

Swift announced Midnights during the MTV VMAs back in August, and she’s been dropping clues about the eagerly anticipated LP ever since. She slowly revealed the tracklist via her “Midnights Mayhem With Me” TikTok videos, and last night, she debuted a Midnights teaser trailer during Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football broadcast.

Taylor co-produced the album with her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, who gets a co-writing credit on most of the tracks. Lana Del Rey, who guests on “Snow on the Beach,” is the LP’s lone feature, though Zoë Kravitz and Swift’s boyfriend, Joe Alwyn (using the pseudonym William Bowery), each grab a songwriting credit. In the pre-release build-up, Swift described the album as a “journey through terrors and sweet dreams.”
