Meghan Markle has given birth to her second child with Prince Harry. On June 4, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed Archie’s baby sister, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

“It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world,” the couple’s press secretary said in a statement. “Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home.”

Born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California, Lilibet weighed seven pounds and 11 ounces. According to the statement, Meghan and Harry’s daughter is named after Queen Elizabeth, “whose family nickname is Lilibet.” As for her middle name, Diana, the couple decided to honor Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

Prince William and Kate Middleton congratulated Megan and Harry on June 6, stating that they are “delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili.” Harry and William’s father, Prince Charles, also issued a statement: “Wishing them all well at this special time.”

In case you missed it, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared untold stories behind the palace’s walls with Oprah Winfrey back in March.
